I started programming at the age of 9 and I still haven’t stopped. Today I still have the same passion for programing as I had twenty years ago. I’m 37 years old and I live in Targu Mures with my wife and our two children.

I started to be familiar with programming when i was still in highschool, then I attended a college in the field of mathematics and informatics. For two years now I do what I most like, I work as a PHP programmer. Currently I am an active member of a NGO involved in youth education. I like the idea of working with children, to help them develop as individuals.

I was fascinated with computers from adolescence (when the tape storage was used with these large computer systems). I have found that my true passion lies in programming and turned coding into a job. I like history, spirituality and philosophy, books and travel And I never have time to do all of them.

Since 2012 I work in a local company as Typo3 Integrator, web programmer. I started my career in an educational project and from there comes my attraction for children education. I wanted to work in IT because I consider the skills learned in this field are relevant for me, and later I will be able to use them to develop an application which will contribute to the developement of some of the processes in social field. Also, taking in consideration the thnigs you have to learn, the IT field is a concrete one, and the resources needed are handy ones, so you are able to put you ideas in practice quite easy.

I started my career in 2010 as a web developer at one of the biggest IT companies in the area, where I had the chance to meet true professionals, open to offer me help any time I needed it. I feel that now it’s my duty to get involved and share the knowledge I gained so far. I believe that the civil society is the one who can make a difference in the creation of a community as we desire. I hope I will awaken the passion for IT of many.

Ones first love can never be forgotten, mine was a 486 computer in the second grade in my first informatics class. Even though it’s been a long time since then, many classes of informatics in high school and college, I’m as excited as I was in the beginning. With almost 5 years of experience in programming both front-end and back-end, with a growing passion for programming and with the greatest motivation of all time, a prophet devoted to open source technologies I am searching ways to share the knowledge I gathered to the generations coming.

Ambitious and passionate programmer with about 6 years of experience in the web development field. In my spare time I like to travel and read particularly psychology and self-development books. “Kids learning code” represents for me a challenge which I accepted without having to think too much.

I am a 4th year student at Sapientia University majoring in mechatronics and I work as a data operator at a Romanian-American company. I decided to join the TechDrive team because I like challenges from which I can learn. I like volunteering and helping people in their personal/professional development. I’ve been part of Sapientia Students League and recently I finished a 2 years experience at AIESEC, where I was vice-president.
Since I’m studying engineering I like technical stuff- almost everything related to Technics. I know software and hardware programming, knowledge which I’ve put in practice in Germany where I was an intern.
I’m looking forward to beginning my newest experience, even though in the beginning it will be a little harsh because of the time.

I studied Informatics at Sapientia University and I’m currently working on QA at Flame. I’m always surrounded by kids and i would love to be their mentor, to introduce them in the interesting world of programming. I’m excited by the fact that I can learn new things, too, side by side with them.

I have always liked working with computers, with students, and working with them to learn about new things together and to teach programming. I have long been looking forward to the opportunity to teach programming in Târgu Mureș. The possibility of volunteering is an excellent opportunity to teach programming to students.
